OK about two months ago I woke up to a cloudy tank and not really sure what caused it but I lost some fish and my blood shrimp that I have had since I got in the hobby but anyway. My acan took a turn for the worse it started to loose its color almost becoming transparent here is a pic of what it look like just before the decline in health

I thought it was just going to die but it just keep hanging in there so I googled it and I saw some threads where other people had similar problems this is what it looked like about a month ago

I read that if I keep feeding it it should bounce back so I been target feeding the mess out of it and it seems to want to get some of its color back I will be posting pics as it progresses

That really looks like light bleaching, but from talking to you about it before, I think you said that they had been in a shaded spot..... Weird. Did you move them to a shady area before or after they looked white? How old are your bulbs?

Yea I moved them so that they arent directly under the light but I just been feeding it more it seems to be doing better. and as for the bulbs not really sure but I know I want to get some new ones soon

Sometime old bulbs can cause changes in corals, as well as adding brand new ones can bleach coral. Maybe they were just getting too much light. Are yours 250w or 400w?

this is before bleaching
