blenny eating sps?

Anyone had any problems with any kind of blenny snacking on sps? I picked up this guy a few days ago and the brown digi in my tank has been going down hill. Think its the fish?

it's the blenny; I bought the same species and had to remove it after 48 hours because it made a lunch out of my green digita. I would remove him ASAP

well just an update I removed the same blenny you have from my aquarium early yesterday afternoon, and already the polyp extension on my green digita has returned to nearly 100% of what it was prior to the blenny introduction.

Maybe the blenny you have came from the same batch my LFS got, because they all seem to be SPS nippers. To think that I bought this fish to help me with a little bit of algae control, and instead he starts chomping down on SPS corals worth 10 times as much as he cost!

As an aside, I had a small two spot blenny last year that never nipped at SPS corals, but then again, he was only about 1" long compared to the 2.5" long Linear blenny

Many blennies, including the starry and the tailspot, will take an experimental nip at polyps, but my starry has not persisted past the first taste.

My lined blennie lives in the refugium after eating big chunks off of sps. Do a search on lined blennie and you'll find lots of people with same results.

Either that is a phase-change color of the species or that is not a linear 'lined" blenny.
I cannot discover whether it is a combtooth or fanged blenny, but I would be suspicious it is fanged, and I would not trust a fanged blenny with acros.

Whatever Jordanh's blenny is, it's a mirror image of my blenny that lives in my refugium. i caught him red handed several times munching sps, so i'm not certain on identity but certain he's not sps compatible. Looks pretty close to the blenny sdguy had in the link i provided as well.
