Blenny Making a Mess

I just got an orange spotted blenny a few days ago and he's stirring up so much sand I can barely see a couple of inches into the tank. I'm glad he's happy and eating, but will this stop or will he be a sand sifter for the rest of his life? He hasn't stopped filtering since Friday night. Should I just wait it out or is this going to be an ongoing thing?

Most likely he will continue to move the sand around. That is how they search for food and make a shelter. Although I don't know much about the Orange Spotted Blenny but most Blennies and Gobies love the sand IME.

Yeah, I've had gobies before. They've always dug out a spot to hang out, but this guy is constantly sifting.
