Blenny question..clam/SPS safe?

65g Ritteri Tank
I'm starting to get some hair algae in my tank. I've usually always have had tang or dwarf angel to take care of it but I dont want to go the tang route again cuz it's always a pain getting them when they get too big and I dont want to put an aggressive fish in first. I was thinking about getting a red spot blenny. I have clams and SPS and have heard about them nipping, is this correct?

If the blenny will nip, any other suggestions?

My tail spot does not touch any coral. He hardly even seems to notice the other fish in the tank.

I have a lawnmower blenny who sleeps on one of my clam's mantles every single night. The clam doesn't even close up anymore when he lays on it. He doesn't nip any SPS, or do anything wrong. Perfect citizen in my tank.

My starry blenny behaves with my corals and two clams. I find it funny when he rests on my squamosa clam's scutes.

My tailspot leaves everything alone. However, I did have a bicolor in the past that would pick at my 3 maxima clams' mantles all the time. That's why I no longer have it.

I've had my lawnmower blenny for three years, he never hurts a thing, in fact he seems oblivious to the surrounding tank!
