Blisters and open stab wound on Blenny

Hi All,
An hour ago I noticed my Jewel Blenny had lost his nine months pregnant belly appearance look, which he has been sporting for the past few days, only to find he has a puncture wound on the right side of his belly with a few blisters close to it. I can only assume he has been attacked by either the Foxface or Yellow Tang.
He is still eating and acting as normal, although on the thin side - am I worrying over nothing? I have dosed the tank with API MELAFIX just in case.
Regards,
Lucasdoug.

The exact same thing happened to me a while back. My Midas Blenny had a big gash on his side. I did nothing and it went away after a few days. Good as new.

Picture will be on its way when I get him to pose on the correct side - without scarpering when the camera gets close.

My Blenny has gone to the Big Pond in the Sky. Although he was eating he got thinner and thinner as the days went by. Haven't seen him for three days now so I must assume he's no longer with us - a pity, he was my favourite.

for some reason IME, I never had luck with Blennies and Tangs together. Every tang I had went after every Blenny I had when they saw them, in the rocks or in the water column, it didn't matter.

The Blenny never had any problems with the Tang or Foxface (Rabbit fish) in the past, the only fish to chase him were the Maroon Clown and recently a Stripe Head Goby.
