Blond nasso Tang not eating

I picked up a blond naso tang about 5 days ago. He is over the 4 inch mark. I have seen him nibble at some chaeto that made it through the pump but that's about it. He will not eat either red or green algae. I tried the red algae on the clip, and green algae on both a clip and free floating. I have also tried omega pellets and arctic pods. He doesn't look like he is starving (his belly is not pinched) but I would like to see him eat.

I have a 120 with about 140 total water volume (18 gallon skimmer sump, 5 gallon fuge, 40 gallon sump with about 10 /15 gallons in it)

Parameters:
SG: 1.22
PH: 8.3
Nitrates: 20
Ammonia: 0

Tankmates:
Yellow tang
2 monos
GSP
blue line foxface
2 clowns (ocilarius or however you spell taht)
coral beauty
bi color psedocromis

Must learn to spell.

That was before a 20% water change yesterday (so the nitrates should be a little lower).

The LFS told me not to quarantine him. I'm thinking it was a mistake to listen to them. I have quarantined everything else I have purchased.

Should I pull him out and put him in a QT to give him a chance to get used to prepared food? Should I try and feed him something different?

i never see my naso go for any nori/seaweed i offer. He will eat pellets, brine and mysis though. I would suggest giving mysis a try. seems like all my tangs and other fish go nuts for it.
