i picked up a blond naso tang about 2 weeks ago and had her in my qt tank for about a week and she eat good in the qt tank but when i put her in my dt tank it seems like she is shy and wont eat but she will eat macro algae on the clip but nothing else.. can someone give me suggestions on how to get her to eat with the other fish

i have a 180gal tank with 5 tangs which are yellow tang blue hippo tang power brown tang purple tang and a blond naso tang with 2 clownfish 2 cleaner shrimp a goby and a mandarin lps and sps with a rbta

Give her time , sounds like a territory thing right now to me.. as long as shall eating off the clip I wouldn't be to worried ..

Thanks guys maybe I am being a bit nervous and Jacwil it was only a week because I only have a 20 long qt and didn't want her to stress out in such a small tank

So I woke up this morning and found my blonde naso tang died at the bottom of the tank. I have no clue why since she was fine the first week I had her. She was eating great swimming fine but yesterday I noticed she wouldn't move from the corner of the tank. Am sad because that was my favorite fish and I waited forever to get her and no luck.. All the other fish are perfect but am still scratching my head wondering what went wrong with her. :(

Sorry for your loss man. I mean, she may have been beaten/stressed to death or there may have been a disease or other health issue that didn't manifest itself in the first two weeks or maybe even a reason Im not thinking of at the moment. Unfortunately, without a proper quarantine it's going to be difficult to ascertain what it was :/.
