Anybody got any of these fish ? Im thinking about getting some of these fish after reading about them in Scott Michaels book. Im nearly fully stocked so im after a couple of smallish fish. I have a Longnose Hawkfish - Do you think he will eat these fish or do you think it would be ok to add them. Current stock is a pair of Clarkii Clowns, a Regal Angel, A Sohal Tang, Silver Belly Wrasse, Cleaner Wrasse, Blackspot Angel and a Longnose Hawkfish. Anyone know how much these wonderful little fish sell for ? Thanks people. :)

I had a Blue Assesor. It was a nice fish. He didn't get along with my Blackcap Basslett (Never keep multiple bassletts in the same tank) and when I upgraded I kept the Blackcap and found a good home for the Assesor.

Those are some aggressive fish you have and the assesor is about as peaceful as you can get, not sure who the culprit was in my old tank but someone bit his anal fin a couple times. Also they are cave dwellers, usually hang out just in a couple spots.

Maybe a Pseudochromis would be a better choice, similar size, more active and can hold their own on the aggression front though they are shrimp killers 9If you have shrimp).

Thanks Illuminati, a stunning little fish - still not made any concrete plans - ive looked at the chromis but was after something a little different. Nice photo though.

Or..... You could get the other color variety, the Yellow Assesor. I have one and it adds a great splash of color. Unlike some, mine readily swims out in the open. Like snorvich says, it's a very peaceful fish.
