hi guys,
I was wonering if any have experience with this specimen, my question is that if they like light so much, why does mine close & shrink when MH comes on & open up when the lishts go off?

He should be at the bottom of your tank, with his foot through the sand, and attached to the glass.
Mine (I have a green) reacts that way when the halides come on, but opens up fully after a few minutes.

blues / purples / reds are also alot more tempermental than the commin greens and browns.

i have seen and kept greens with no problems but i have had a few blues just decide they didnt want to make it. and melt away for no aparant reason.

he has been in my tank for about 1 week, he settled just above sand on a rock, could he be on a different time zone? (stupid theory)

dex get pictures it may not be a haddoni it may be a gigantea which like to be on rocks a little more than in the sand.

if you can get a pic of the foot and under the disk we can see what it is for sure

its a Christmas Miracle! He is fully open with the Metal hallides & is looking Happy! although I havent seen my Solar Wrasse lately
