Blue chromis laid eggs?

No pics yet. I'm looking for my digicam.

But this morning I noticeed on my huge peice of coral that it was covered in white dots. I have 4 snails. Which I guess could be snail eggs. But one blue chromis is guarding the coral with a vengeance. Even chasing off my big yellow tangs.

So I guess my question is, are blue chromis eggs solid white or transparent?

Transparent bluey white colour as par as I can tell.

Chromis are a PITA, they get very agro with all the other fish when they have eggs.
Every now and again they nip the Sohal, then he gets very p'd off and chases the chromis all over the tank

Chromis eggs do start white/translucent white.

The guarding behaviour does suggest that they may have laid them on your coral.

Mine always laid on the glass, but from what I've heard, they'll lay eggs anywhere.
