I was just finishing up redoing the tank to accomodate some new Zoas and decided to snap a few pics. I got one pic off of a zoa colony when I noticed one of my BEC had an extended throat. I snapped away and even shot some video.
Now I know a lot about breeding freshwater mouthbreeders so the visual is quite positive. I did not feed the fish yesterday or today and when I did feed after seeing the pictures, she??? came out but did not eat. The other fish did.
Anyone with experience breeding these care to chime in? I do have a large CPR in tank refugium that I can move her to (assuming I can get her out) if need be.
Take a look at these pictures and tell me what you think. There is a link to the video following the pictures also. It is 2:30AM so I apologize for the pics not being clearer.
