Blue eyed kole tang and mimic tang

Hi
I have a blue eye Kole tang and was wondering if it would be ok to put a mimic tang in alongside. I have looked on various compatability charts and all have different views. I have a 400l corner tank.

They should be fine although every fish is diff. Your tank is big enough to allow it. Has your kole been aggressive to any other fish in the tank?

I added a Mimic Tang to my 120gal tank that had an established Yellow-eye Kole Tang. Both fish were very close in size.
The Kole Tang sized up the Mimic Tang for the first day or so, but nothing too aggressive. And they're completely fine with each other now.

Depends on y tank size but usually the tangs fight first day or 2 and settle in. Acclimation box for a day or 2 would help.

I believe so. Mimics are one of my favorites.

I kept a kole and a mimic in my 210 with no issues whatsoever. I did however add them both at the same time.

LiveAquaria.com suggests a minimum tank size of 120 gallons/454 liters for a mimic tang. Your tank at 105 gallons/400 liters is a little smaller, so I would be concerned about the possibility of aggression. I don't have any experience with the mimic, though.

I would probably forego the mimic, as I really don't like pulling apart my tank to catch a fish if it doesn't work out.
