I called my LFS store which is 150 miles from where I live to find out what he had in stock. he told me that he had a Blue Rhodactis that is very similar to a green frilly mushroom but the tenatacles are longer and thicker. Anybody ever heard of these and/or seen them. He will be sending me pictures of this rhodactis and also said these guys are rare. Will know what it look like when I go over later.

Blue hairy mushroom, sometimes called "blue frogspawn" because they look similar. LiveAquaria gets them in occansionally, also purple form. They are pretty, not seen much but not sure I would classify as "rare".
Unless he's talking about a st. thomas ric which is different.

I have seen the St. Thomas on LiveAquaria and have been wanting one but never had paid attention to the scienitific name. but a light bulb came on,it a rhodactis species and would not be surprise if that what it is. He is asking $70.00 for it and that what the price range that LiveAquaria has.

You can find them cheaper than that, sealife has them for like $12 but you don't know what color you will get or coral morphologic has wysiwyg. I've gotten them from both and been very happy.
