What is the minimum number of b/g chromis needed for them to swim in schools ?

If you have a mean fish, it should keep them together and too busy worrying to pick each other off. Something like a tang or aggressive clown or angel maybe.

Well if you get a school of them, they will start killing each other off anyways because thats just what they do. I've been lucky in the four in my 75 school some and they haven't singled one out of the group yet.

I hear people say this about chromis, but I've had the same 6 chromis for 4 years now with no aggression.
My lone anthias even schools with them as their leader.
They do somehow bring out shy fish.
Their curriosity of my pink skunk has made them adapt to my sea anemones as well.
