Yes, the older carpet has eaten some fish. Doesn't seem to be a problem any more though. My midas blenny got stung pretty bad but he pulled through and stays clear of the carpets.

BEAUTIFUL Carpet! I always wanted one of these carpets but I am just too afraid that it will eat most of my fishes. I have heard so many horror stories of it eating fish, even fishes bigger than itself!
