Blue Hippo near Reading

I have a 7" Blue hippo that I'm looking to move. Great fish, but has become rather stubborn with some of my frags. He's been moving the eggcrate that they sit on and pushing the frags all over the tank. Healthy fish that is now in my 20g qt. I'm looking for $35.

ps, he's not eating or picking at any coral...

I would love a blue hippo that size for my new tank, but I am in no position to pick him up anytime soon.

Good price!

I hope he's priced to move as I'm sure he's cramped in my 20g qt.

It will be gone fast at that price and specially you had it in a tank for a while.

I'm not happy in a 20g, so I'll hide!!!

The spots around the head seem to be more visible now that it's stressed. I'll look to see if I have a earlier photo.

Are you going to the NJ swap on the 27th?

IF so, bring him along, I am willing to take him.

I'm not going to the swap. For some reason I never have been to a swap. I guess because up until recently I haven't had anything to swap. This is my fourth tang in the last year or so that I've gotten rid of. I unloaded a chevron, desj. sailfin, purple, and now this one. I while back I wanted an achilles and retro'd my tank to make it comfortable.

I'm hoping to get rid of this fish this weekend.

a lot of interest, but still no takers! $30, also willing to listen to trade offers (sps or anything colorful that I don't already have)

Dude, if you were closer, I would take him RIGHT NOW. LOL

I would trade too, just getting him from there to here. Would you be interested in doing fedex ground, it does only take one day in PA.

I really don't want to ship. This is a large fish and I'd be scared that the bag would leak or he'd die. For now I'm still looking for something local...

LOL, large fish can be tricky, but if packed properly using 4 mil bags triple or quad bagged he would be fine. I would trade you a few choice pieces I know you don't have.

You would get more than you paid for the fish :)

Now how do you know what I have?;) I'd probably be interested, if no one comes through in the next day or so. How do I go about getting this fish bagged for transport?

Because I have stuff no one else does. HEHEHEHE that is how I know. Contact a LFS and ask if you can have a few large bags. Check the thickness as most are 2 mil. I would bag it 5-6 times with 2mil and use 2 thin rubberbands for each bag you want closed. After they are all closed I would put it into a styrobox with a heatpack(sporting goods store 24hr preferably) and tape it shut and ship it through fedex
that is all there is to it. Your LFS may have a few boxes lying around that they don't need. If not check around I am sure some fellow hobbyist def have them.

LMK.
