Blue linckia eat coral?!

Hey all not been on in a while and hope this is the appropriate section, however I have had my blue linckia star for over 6 months I would say now and it's done great, we acclimated it carefully and it's been very active etc etc.
However we have had a massive death in our two huge plate corals and have been trying to determine the cause. At first we suspected the crabs, we have a variety of species so if you know of any hermit species known for eating coral then let me know if it could be them, but our blue linckia has been on the corals and we never suspected it and they have completely shrunk and are visibly being eaten away at!
I know not a lot of people keep blue linckia but I was wondering if anyone knew or has experienced this?
Or if you suspect it could be something else name it and I'll check if we have it in the tank.
Thankyou :)

It's not the linkia. Did you feed your plate corals meaty food?
