I for one love blue. I love actinic and since I discovered LED royal blue, I can just not get enough!

So this thread is for all the actinic, disco ball, acid taking (ok maybe not acid taking), reef lovers.

Please post up your actinic pictures and only actinic pictures!

As for a little humor... I just want to blow everyone's mind here for a second. I have dived all over the world as well, :::sarcasm:::which according to the forums makes me some kind of expert :::/sarcasm:::. And guess what... Are you sitting down? You better be. I have seen Acropora growing in 3 feet of water with white 10K light, and also in 100 feet of water which was very very blue. So guess what, arguing whether 10k or 20k is more natural is ridiculous.

So let's see some more blue tanks please. I'm an old Iwasaki freak, but nobody can deny that a 400-watt Radium brings out some serious color.

I wish I could post pics, but it turns out I suck at photography especially since switching to led's last year. Can't get the photos to turn out right in terms of color.

Darryl, that's just showing off right there! My reef is just hitting a year and things are finally starting to pick up steam. I hope one day my tank can look even half as nice as yours.

Quick question...how do you like LED Royal Blue when compared to VHO actinic? I'm on the fence about adding a couple rows of Stunner strips to complement my Radiums, or just go with VHO actinic.

Wow that tank is superb. Love the colours! I'm nat normally a black sand fan but in this case it looks great. The black eggcrate frag rack is a particulary clever idea.

When your tank looks like Dvanacker's & tdb320reef's, I don't think it really matters what color light you shine on it...

The royal blue trumps VHO actinic big time IMO. I run a combo of both which is nice but I wouldnt hesitate to run just royal blue and maybe some 420nm violet LED for my actinic periods. Nothing beats it.

Props on the photography skills with all that blue, since I've entered the LED zone I have yet to get a post worth pic. I chuckled at that booboo brown tank amongst all those beauties surrounding it. Any tips on pics would be awesome, I'm using a T2i if that helps.
