I am looking for a lighting fixture for a 24x12x14 tank.
I have been considering the Blue Moon LED fixture.
What will this unit support in terms of corals and Macro algea?

Also, what color is the housing?

Thanks

~Michael

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your post, the Blue Moon Aquatics LED fixture will maintain most invertebrates and corals kept in an aquarium that normally originate from shallow waters.

The housing has a matte black finish to it.

You may Also look into the Ecoxotic LED System Fixtures also we carry one that is 23.5 in width and depending on how your mounting the light you have the option to either use the stand mount or Wall mount.

I Hope this helps

Best Regards,

Thanks!

Which of these two fixtures is brighter?

Finally, Which of the two fixtures looks better and which seems made better. (I know this is opinion, but I would like to know).

Hi Michael,

Thanks for the reply, I would say they are both about the same intensity.

If it were for my aquarium I would go with the Ecoxotic fixture, it has a nice look to it and has a modular design which it's pretty customizable if you wanted to add more LED modules later.

I've included a specification link from the manufacturer on the Panorama Systems

I Hope this helps!

Best regards,

Walter
