Blue Spot Jawfish at LFS

I finally saw a blue spot jawfish in person at a LFS today. The color is amazing. And it's only $74.99!!! You guys may want to check it out.

oh dude, i was so excited that i forgot, it's at Exotic. by the way, it's in the tank next to the one that says "fish in this display tank not for sale", you have to look real close, it's under a rock

Yup, never put them in an uncoverred tank, or one with even a hole as large as they are thick. BSJ are easily spooked

I picked up one at Exotic. Funny little guy, definitely wanted to hop out of his acclimation bucket. Luckily my tank is relatively deep and there are many places on the bottom to hide so I have yet to see him try and jump out... come to think of it I have yet to see him period? Hmmm....

Well, I found him.

It would seem even deep tanks and hiding spots are not good enough for these little guys as he has found his way to his carpety grave. Sure was one expensive lesson to learn the hard way...
