Blue spot jawfish got torn up-

Sucks that I have to write this post, but maybe someone has some advice.
The other day I saw my bluespot jawfish and he looked like something tore half his face apart! Right eye badly damaged, and part of his upper jaw on the same side was torn up badly. (in the pic he has a piece of bristleworm that he grabbed when I put him into my fuge.)

I have been feeding him mysis and flakes, which he seemed to eat some of. I had hoped he might gain strength and survive. Now however, he is almost constantly barrel-rolling. Still has color, no white spots, I really think he got attacked by my smaller clownfish. That b$tch clownfish attacks my hand when I put it in the tank!

Anyway, not sure there is anything I can do at this point.

My clowns killed my purple firefish and tried to kill my Bagai Cardinals. I saved them at least and got them into another tank. Once Clowns are established and have territory and sometimes a mater, they become shits and its hard to add any fish after them.

Some species are worse than others. It seems that the amount of tank space a mating pair of clownfish will want to control is directly proportional to their size. As such GSM want to control about 50 gallons of tank space, while Ocellaris only about 25 gallons of tank space. That is, of course, after they are a bonded pair.

I have a BSJ and have not seen any of my other fish (6 line, neon dotty back and/or clown) be aggressive towards him. He opens his mouth wide and scares them away from his space. He is housed in a 90 gal. with about 3-4 in sand bed and plenty of rock rubble for him to build his cave.

Same with mine- in a 90 gal., lots of sand, rubble and rock.. He always stayed to himself, tangling with the clown is the only thing I could think of as far as how he got torn up.
