Blue Tang Fin Damage

Ok. So I have been keeping reef aquariums for over 10 years and in that time I have been fortunate enough to not have encountered any diseases. I employ a QT for my fish and coral before they go in even though I have not had any bouts of disease. Today though I noticed that my blue tang fins seem to be tattered. I am not sure if it is some sort of fin rot or if he damaged it getting stuck in rock work. He is always squeezing into really tight places. Here's a picture of him. What do you think it could be?

Tank info:
225 gallon 6' long X 32" Wide X 24" High
1.026 SG
Ammonia, nitrites undetectable
Nitrates and phosphate undetectable. I do have some green hair algae though.
Tank mates: yellow tang, chromis, bicolor blenny, fire fish, bicolor angel.
Only inverts are snails.

This tank is relatively new. It's been running for 4 months now. Started from dry rock so no hitchhikers.

Looks like battle damage. Perhaps the angel is nipping at him?

I haven't noticed the angel nipping but I will definitely keep an eye on it. Thanks for the advice.

Either battle wounds or fin rot, since it's looks to be just the tail you can rule out fin rot

Looks like battle scars. I have a tang and he hides in tight spaces too but never hurts himself.
