blue tang help

ok so i have a blue eyed tang for more than a week a i havent SEEN him eat but food is deifnetely available to him...i always see him picking lagae or whatever off rocks though so i dont know if hes just not hungry

also there is this brown streak on his side could this be related?:bum:

maybe a pic would help and how big is the tang? as long as you dont see it getting thin rapidly then it should be ok for now.

dude the brown thing uis gone, not even kidding 2 hours later and it disappeared...weird

Tangs will 'fade' and you will notice a brown stripe when they are stressed, or at night. First thing in the morning, my yellow tang looks pale with a brown stripe down the side, but after the lights come on, it colors back up to bright yellow. Also, my hippo tang pales up at night, but is bright blue after the lights come on.

yea my tangs all do that exept i never saw him do it so it was odd
