Blue Tang not eating

I have had my blue tang about 5 weeks now, and I have only seen him eat once, he hides inside one of my rocks and never comes out, the rest of the team is very friendly, no attacks or anything, but he still hides, any idea how to coax him out? I have tried live brine and seaweed attached to rocks, nothing. He comes out for a few minutes a day, circles the rock, and goes back in.

Maybe try soaking the seaweed in garlic first. That might help.
