Blue Tang sick

He has two clear (not black) spots on his face that hasn't gotten worse or healed in a while. What sickness is this? Is it permanent?

Spots or pits? Cant tell much from the photo, perhaps HLLE.

Are you running carbon? If so, it's probably too much you're using.

Scars can remain from HLLE, or can heal up. But carbon has been shown to increase the risk of, and often cause HLLE.
