Got a nice pair.... They seem to be doing very well... The male is out and about, all over the tank, and eating very well... Female is still hiding most of the time. She did come out and eat last night... I saw her swimming this morning before the lights came on, but once on, hiding... Hopefully she comes around... here are some pics of the male... They are both 3 inches..

My wife said the female was swimming around today when she got home from work... As well as ate some food...

Nice pics

Like the 'yawning' shot a lot
Yeah, trigger up and mouth open, was a good catch.

Guys,
On closer inspection, the female looks to be a male.... Take a look... Got a pic this morning... the so called female was out and about eating well...

They were sold to me as a pair...

In a 220 you might do just fine with them, they are pretty peaceful as far as triggers go.

For what it's worth, nothing even guarantees a male/female combo will last in a tank, sometimes it just doesnt work out.

I'd give you 50/50 odds of it working out, especially since they are small.

When they hit full adult size you might have some issues, or that second male might stay smaller and not so colored and not "**** off" the alpha male.
