Blue throat trigger

I saw a really nice blue throat trigger fish at Pets Warehouse yesterday and I'm thinking of getting it for my 215. I have a maroon clown, yellow tang, striped damsel and a blue girdled angel in there now. The yellow tang is really nasty. It's a fish only tank.
How do you think this fish would get along in this tank? I'd appreciate any other stocking suggestions you guys have. Thanks.

I have a Blue throat in my tank, he doesn't have any problems with my other fish. As long as he's not really small I'm sure he can protect himself against the Tang. how big is the tang, and how big is the Blue throat?

I have no problems with my Blue Throat, but he did jump out when I first got him so be careful.
A Naso Tang would be a good addition also.

I'll second that, my blue throat found my overflow within an hour of adding him to the tank, but not since then.

Thanks, Scott & Vinny. The blue throat and the tang are about 5" each. I have egg crate covering my tanks. Do you think that will be enough to keep him in?

I think it should deter any sky diving.

U never know how 2 fish are going to act towards one another. IMO the trigger would be just fine- worst come to worst just move the rocks around.

I have a pair of blue throats in my reef.They are great don't bother anything and are less destructive then the hippo tangs.

I picked him up from Pets Warehouse the other day along with a smaller pink tail trigger. They are doing just great with my other fish in that tank. I'm really happy with them! Thanks for the input!
