I have a pair in my reef for several months and they have been model citizens - have not bothered snails or corals. i do not have any shrimp in the tank so i cant comment on that.
That's not good...I've 3 lg cleaner shrimps and 3 lg fire shrimps (lately I only see 2 of the 3) in the tank.

Here is a great article on the X triggers. Many people report them being 100% coral and invert safe. Some have had issues with them eating fish and a shrimp here and there. They are probably more reef/inverty safe than large tangs and angels (which will eat shrimp when they get big enough).
this is my female about a year and a half ago in my reef with 2 cleaner shrimp ans assorted snails and hermits and no problems. i think the trick is to have the shrimp in first and the have to be on the large side i have 2 large cleaners a skunk and a blood shrimp.sorry about the pic quality
