RANDOM.. but what causes the long polyp extension from the tips like in doogans avatar? I took my skimmer offline a day ago and right now (lights off) noticed for the first time one of my acros with it's polyps on the tips extended near that far!

Yeah all my acro's and millepora seem to be doing that late at night. I don't think I was doing anything special, just lots of flow. I may have been feeding a little coral frenzy around the time I took that photo.
