Blue Tuxedo Urchin Spawning?

I took these a couple of days ago, here in the UK we are in a full moon phase, apparently that's relevant.

Bunny went to the highest point on the left island and started his thing...

Pretty sure he's spawning? Thankfully I only have him so no chance of little urchins.

Yep, spawning. Urchins are broadcast spawners. During a full moon or other signal, they all go up to high points and release eggs or sperm into the water, where it mingles and the eggs are fertilized.
Looks like your urchin might be releasing eggs, which would mean it's a female. If the fish all went nuts, they were nomming on eggs.
