Bluespot Jawfish

I have seen them at Live Aquaria, pretty expensive but beautiful. Horrid jumpers...a covered tank is a must!

my lfs had a couple last week, i am going there tonight, if they still have them i'll let u know. they will ship anywhere if u r seriously interested. they will send u a pic of the fish also before u buy it. price is usually between 150-200$

They are jumpers, have a poor survival rate. But that may improve if you keep them at lower temperatures. Seasonal. Live Aquaria often has them.

both r gone from my lfs but they get them in regularly. so i can shoot u a pm next time they come in. i have had mine for a few months now and he is doing great, eats great and has a great personality. i keep mine from 78-80 degrees and have seen no ill effects. i think their poor survivability is due to poor handling during shipping or collecting which takes its toll over a period of time which ends after it has been purchased.

I have purchased 2 over the years. 1 jumped. The second was doing great then dropped dead out of the blue. Good luck with yours!

BTW, I got one for christmas. It came from my LFS and it is doing fantastic! Eating like a pig! My LFS also has one in a display tank for almost 2 years and still going strong. I think survival rates really depends on how the fish was collected.

Here is a pic of him:
