I have orderd fish from them with good results, but would be cautious regarding nems - they clearly have mislabeled their species and their example photo of a gig is clearly sick. Makes me think twice about their expertise.

oh... snap! good prices??? lol well, i looked up their "blue gigs for sale" and wasn't so sure. i'm no expert, but that doesn't look like a gig in the pic to me. besides... i found a large blue gig (actually is a gig) locally for a grand less then they are charging. lol a couple local shops have huge red haddoni in stock for a small fraction of what they want for a blue.
personally, i would rather buy one locally. i pay less and am able to seen what i get before i purchase. maybe there aren't many shops locally for you. i'm not sure. to each their own....

i ordered a Multicolored angel and a multi-bar angel from them. before i ordered i asked specifically if the multi-bar is eating and was told yes.
no the fish doesnt eat and is weak. it died of course.
the multi-colored angel died of scale infection a few weeks later, this one i cant hold it against them as this is something i dont think they would know themselves. Would i order again? 70% no. 30% yes only because anything over $140 is shipped free. So if i were to order a dozen yellow tang at $15 each i will...... if you know what i meant.

I wish we had some locally. I am in Albuquerque, NM. Maybe I should pay one of you guys to buy locally and ship to me. No local shops with Gigs or Haddonis here. I would love two colord. Red,blue, lime green. *SIGH*

Most places can get colored haddonis no problem, ask one of your LFS. They probably don't order them often because no one asks about them, but I would be surprised if they didn't have a supplier that sells them.
Gigs are a different story, most of the time they send the wrong animal.

make a trip to LA. It's a 10 hour drive, but you can get all the gigs and haddonis here.
I ordered corals from bluezoo and they arrived ok.

Don't think many would complain about that! Other way around though... :sad2: Then again it probably depends which continent you live on, hehe.

I bought 6 small gigs from them on two occasions and none of them made it. Two were almost DOA and they gave me credit for them. The other 4 were in various states of decline. However, if you know gigs, you know that it doesn't have much to do with Blue Zoo. When they get in more I plan to use the credit to purchase more -- just goes to show that I will continue to purchase from them despite my bad luck. Their shipping bags could use a bit more water, but other than that I have no complaints.
In terms of the colored gigs, I don't think they ever that them so the prices on the site don't say much. I'd be willing to guess that they don't even try to stock them.

I am not personally up for shipping nems. I just wait and hunt locally. I feel that ordering nems online is always a risk. I would personally ask for wysiwyg pics and some kind of guaranty. I will drive a couple hours just to check a lead
ocd works for me. Lol they seem to pop up from time to time. Seems like they also come in waves. might be able to help point you in the right direction. Pm sent...

Time is a limitation for a lot of us. I ordered mine on a staycation over the the summer. Only a few options.
