Bought a DUAL DEIONIZATION CANISTER from BRS thinking I could install this with my current filter system but ends up I would need a booster pump which I do not plan on buying more equipment to run this along with my 7 Stage RO/DI system.

It's Brand new unused and uninstalled.

Asking $40 for the DUAL DEIONIZATION CANISTER w/ DI resin and refill tube. Still in box it was shipped to me in. I'm sure someone here can put it into better use.

You should not need a booster pump just to ad a second DI canister unless your water pressure is real low. You would need one to ad a second membrane.

My RO/DI system has 1 sediment filter, 1 carbon filter, 3 DI canisters, and 2 membranes.

I get ok water flow out of the DI. Was planning to add 2 more canisters of DI so that I didn’t have to change out the resins that often. After some heavy research, many people and my search’s said I would need a booster if I was running that much filtration for an upstairs apartment. For this reason, I didn’t hook it up and it’s still brand new in box.

For $40 that’s like paying for just the resin alone and getting the whole unit free. I’m surprised I still have it. It would need to be picked up in San Diego CA 92115 as shipping it might not be worth it? Unless the buyer really needs it for some reason. Anyways @ $40 you can’t go wrong here.

Easy way is to check you pressure guage on the unit. I run a 7 stage without a booster pump and it flows at 60psi no problem. Your slow output rate could be due to the cold temps of your water during this season.
