Who has kept a bobtail squid? Are they suitable for a reef tank? Size of tank? Special Needs? I tried googling, going to tonmo, etc. but haven't found much information.
Euprymna species are not suitable for a reef tank ... these are nocturnal animals, they spend the day buried to the eyeballs in the sandy bottom ... they will eat small fish and crustaceans. They can be displayed in a species tank but you won't be able to watch them much as the tank would have to be dimly lit. Combine this with a 10 month life span and I wouldn't bother if I were you unless you have ready access to them i.e. you can collect your own.
