Been trying to get some information on them but cant find any...

Anyone have kept 1 before.. Could you share the experience with it as I have a relatively medium size oneat the LFS..

They are a gorgeous species when in prime condition and mature. According to a few sources I have found they constitute about 12% of the entire fishery of New Caledonia....

It is gorgeous but the price that I was quoted was quite surprising, I am holding on for a while before I get it if it is still left at the shop.. It is around USD220 converted...
 
Do you mind me asking what country you are located in? I have not seen one of these guys offered for sale in my part of the US. Online vendors will occasionally have them, but I figure that this species large size scares off many aquarists.

It is even more awesome live and this is from Mauritius, it looks abit different from all those i have seen on the net..
 
i've had them from mauritius before. Nice little fish. They do get big though. they were about 3" when i brought them a while abck.
 
Hi, do you have a photo of it after keeping for sometime? I am thinking if it is aggressive to other fishes?
