Boiled egg yokes

egg yolks are commonly used to feed certain FW fish. (livebearers and their fry, certain cihlids, etc etc.)

there are several egg yolk based flake foods out there as well.

I tried peanut butter, nobody was interested.

I tried the egg yoke, just thinking it was full of nutrition and I might as well vary their diet. I like to vary their diet, anyways. I feed 2 types of pellets, mysis, flake, cyclpo-eeze, nori, blood worms, sometimes with selcon, plus some other miscellaneous frozen stuff from time to time.

Bugs make sense. I wonder if feeder worms (for reptiles) could be gut loaded? I know they're not worms, but I forget what they are called.

As WorldNation said, its is pretty common to feed egg yolks to FW fish. You have to be careful because it can foul the water very quickly. Personally, I wouldnt put in a marine tank simply because I try to keep conditions as pristine as possible.
