Bonded Tank Moving Companies?

I have 2 custom ELOS 250G bowfront tanks sitting in my garage that I need to get safely into my livingroom. These things are only 50" x 36" x 32", but are built like tanks: 900# crated with 750# of that each tank. Anyone have a lead for a reliable company that can move these bad boys reliably and safely? I live in the Washington DC/Baltimore area/Mid Atlantic. TIA.

Sorry I don't know anyone in your area but here in Tampa, Florida I used a local moving company to deliver my 400 72x36x36. They moved it from the truck around the back of my house through the sliding glass doors and into the wall, only took them about 20 min. Cost was fair, about $200.

4 guys came, they brought dollies, plywood (to lay on the grass for dollies to roll) straps, and padding. Plus full insurance on the tank and anything they might damage in the house when they moved the tank. My wife was at ease with the move

Thanks for the lead. May call some local movers.

Anyone else with experience moving large tanks or advice/leads?

Piano movers are the way to go with large tanks. They usually have all the proper lifting equipment as well.

Just had a local mover here in Indiana move my 515 gallon from the garage to my basement. Suprisingly it went without a hitch. While moving it the mover stated that hot tub installers would have some equipment that could be used to move a large aquarium.

We have to move an 1800 pound glass aquarium in a few weeks and we cannot figure out how to lift it. I think movers will be called

a local mover got my 160xl from the driveway to my living room.... surprisingly took only two burly guys to do it !
