wow you must have great tank environment..

for 3 years..it didn't grow at all..but since last few years..it's doing great..~

How far do you keep this coral from your lights? I have a 4x39w t5 all geisemann (aquablue, pure actinic, aquablue, actinic+) and I get good growth but its brown.

i think it would take some time..

I have 5 montis..at the bottom of the tank..and it got browned and coloration is coming back...~

Some monti's do fine at the bottom for me, others need to be up a bit. I have a nice confusa colony that has always been on the sand 23" from the bulbs, grown from a 3/4" frag to a 3"x4" colony. I have a setosa frag growing well about 16" from the bulbs, but my superman and digi's are happiest about 10" from the bulbs.


The Bonsai is about 10" from the lights, 7" from the waters surface.

I saw you have Vortech MP20...I want to get one as welll...

but debating to get MP20 instead of MP40...since my tank is 29x 29x 20..
