Haven't posted an update in a long while. A lot has happened reef wise since my last post. I decided to downsize and move everything over to a 65 gallon ADA tank. Although it was a smaller tank I consider it an upgrade compared to my 120 (equipment and materials). So, I did just that, but this time the move didn't go quite as well as past ones. I pretty much lost everything from the old tank except for I think 3 pieces. It all started with the new stand I had ordered. The 120 had been broken down with coral in coolers and buckets everywhere. I thought this would be just a quick switch over, but I was wrong. The new stand had a broken leg that I never noticed. It took 3 days to get a new one and needless to say the coral were pretty stressed. Once I managed to get everything up and running things went downhill from there. STN took over and no matter how much I fragged, my colonies were getting smaller and smaller each day until pretty much I had an empty tank. I just think the initial stress and then changing out the sand and completely different lighting did them in. It had been so long since I had lost anything maybe I was just a bit too cocky in thinking I got this when I didn't.
So, new beginnings. I should probably start a new thread for this, but I will at least post this last entry here. What do you think, new thread or continue on this one?

New reef is not much to look at for the moment and has a long way to go. Here's a quick pic to humble beginnings:

Keeping it simple, just like my last setup:beer:
