Borbonius Anthias

My 4 Borbonius Anthias will be in, in a week. They are going in a 400 gallon reef. Has anyone had any experience with them?

I just got one a week a go last Friday. Came in well with no decompression issues and was eating by the second day.

It's a cool little fish. This is my first go around, so don't have a lot of knowledge to give. I'll be tagging along though.

I had one for about six months that I lost while on vacation when my tank got to 90 degrees. I now have had this one since 1-17. It disappeared for a few weeks in the rocks but now has claimed a little place in my tank and stays near his rock most of the day. Eats about anything offered to the tank that floats by his area. I got mine from divers den.

Borb are amazing fish almost pick up 2 today but
I worry about decompression issue too,
I lost too many rhomboid and lineatus because of it.

Hello, I just picked up one these guys a week ago and so far so good. My tank hits 80 in the summer and worried that May b tooo warm for him. Does anyone here keep their tanks that warm with these guys? What about lighting? I plan to get the new AI hydra 52 LEDs and worried how he'll handle the lights. I currently have T5s. How about lifespan?

I had my pair for almost a year before my tank crashed. In the summer time my system gets up to 82 and I never had any issues with the Borbs.

I just purchased a babonias and he has been gone for the past two days, gone as in I have no idea where he is and I search everywhere for him. I just wanted to ask when you say disappear, do you mean he was completely out of sight for the whole two weeks or did he come out and take a peek here and there?
