Both halves of the MAG mount in Tank

Are all the parts of the Tunze magnetic mount completely sealed?

I am curiuous because I am setting up a 120 gallon tank from scratch. I was originally going to use closed loop pumps to hide the plumbing in the live rock. I've read alot of good things about tunze but I am trying to hide all man made devices. Yes I have seen the Tunze rocks but I want to use two and the size of them will look too large in the top of my aquascaping. The bottom will present maitenance issues.

What I'm wondering is can I mount the outside half of the Mag mount in the overflow box? Or can I mount it on 45 degree angle piece of glass under the overflow? Obviously in both of the options both halves with be in the live tank water.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Both halves are waterproof, but keep in mind these pumps need to be cleaned every 3-6 months so donn't get too carried away with hiding them.

That's great! No your right that's exactly what I am trying to do, easy maintenance. I don't want to berry them under a pile of live rock. I am just trying to hide as much of the wires, brackets, equipmet as I can reasonable do. I am trying to make the tank look as natural as I can.

Thanks, this makes my decision of pump design easier. TUNZE it is!!!
