I had a target (spotted) in my reef for 4 1/2 years that loved PE mysis and Spectrum pellets. If he's too small for large mysis, try Omega One Mysis or another smaller mysis. HTH, Karl

I think people have already been keeping mandarin's in Nano's with sucess. I've read it here somewhere.. especially if you get one trained to eat prepared foods ( a good mix of food to help its diet ).
I credit my success to it being able to eat prepared foods. Thats why I bought it. Originally I was going to have no fish but it ate at the store and that is why I got it and I do agree five months isn't long term at all but it is longer than it would survive if it wasn't eating prepared food in such a small tank so it is doing good.
