Bought a stichodactyla gigantea?

Great thread, I wasn't familiar with that type of anemone. Still a beautiful specimen. Could make a nice display with some anemone shrimp or crabs.

No doubt. LOL. I had never seen one before that looked like a host actinian.

Definitely a helianthus.

Here's a pic of one I purchased back in 2004. I ended up selling it to a fellow reefer and supposedly his Tomato clown hosted after an acclimation period. The Ocellaris I had at the time almost got eaten by this specimen. . .

I thought mine where hosted to it to until the anemone decided they where food, luckily for me, the clowns got away. I think if he was 100% they would of been eaten. My cleaner shrimp still will not venture away from this anemone. I was hoping he would be more incline to have a relationship with the fish and not with an anemone.
Are the Ocellaris clowns incline to host a Haddoni or a BTA? Will I be better off waiting for a Gigantea (or another Ocellaris Host) to come along?

S. Helianthus are clown eaters, just go a head and take him back to the store.
Oc's will host BTA and Haddoni's you don't have to wait to get the gigantea.
