Bought Coralife PC strip..have ?????

My current orbit 30" pc strip went zap and fry the night before I was leaving town for five days... I made a mad dash to fins to get a new one...i got the coralife and it is nice however I notice the lights are staggered to where the actinic starts on the left and ends 3 inches short of the right and the 10k starts and the right and ends 3 inches short to the left...( the orbit bulbs must've been longer)
in other words the bulbs do not stretch the length of the fixture...this makes for a blue looking left side ...perfect middle lighting and white looking right side..

anyone dealt with this or have a suggestion?

Could you load it up with 50/50 bulbs? That would give you the same spectrum on both ends.

yes ...that is a solution but then I would lose my timer settings of dawn to dusk which brings the actinics only on at night and morning...I really like that look...so trying for something else...l wonder if a longer straight pin bulb is available that would cover the distance entirely with the same wattage? I see it as a design flaw

Thats kind of strange. I have a coralife aqualight 24" 2x65 watt light. Both bulbs are in line. My brother has the 48" lunar aqualight, its the same way, just looks like 2 of my fixtures put together. The bulbs are in line and even.

the 30 inch is thw only one that is that way...sux...anyone got a 30" T5 strip they want to sell?
