Ok, so I posted a while about back the difference in which lighting I should buy etc., and the most general response I got was upgrade my 55g to a 75g. Which didn't answer my question at all but regardless here I am.
I have decieded to go with a 75g after all. I was able to buy a brand new 75g w/ built in corner overflow drilled and oak stand for $370 from my LFS. I decieded to go with a 75g because I can house some bigger fish maybe, or I can just have more little fish if I want.
Luckily for my Premium Aquatics happens to be down the street from my house, so yesterday I went over there for their few hour window of walk in business, and talked out my ideas and also got many many ideas on what I needed to buy and what would be best for my setup.
I ended up going with a <a href="http://www.petstore.com/ps_viewitem.aspx?idproduct=ER1413">Euroreef RS80 Protein SKimmer</a> skimmer for $249.99. I also bought from there my <a href="http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=AT-TX54800&Category_Code=Aquactinics">T-5 Lighting</a> setup.
I was currious to see what people thought about my purchase and if they have used any of the equipment that I bought and what their experiences where with it.
Thanks,
Greg
