Thank you for all you have shown. I'm still so hesitant as there is still so little information on this company/product online.
i belive this is post 1,562 and thread started 10/2013 some pretty good information on these lights including custom layouts and what not and who and how to order them and picture proof of tanks prerty good thread and nice light for the price and they do have a site for there product with specs and pics tooThank you for all you have shown. I'm still so hesitant as there is still so little information on this company/product online.
I think one of the reasons I am still hesitant to purchase this item is that there aren't many users out there saying what their lighting schedule is. I'm so afraid I am going to kill all more corals. Does LEDZeal provide any guides?
I ended up taking the plunge tonight and buying it. I wanted a bluer look and Kevin suggested replacing a R with a RB.
How do u know what % to max at? Do you just watch the corals for a few days then move it up?
You won't regret it, great lights.
CwStrife,
With the new setup; what is the percentage that you have for each channel, per the picture provided? Do you feel that the whites can overpower the other channels? The reason I ask is because, in the layout I chose several years ago, my whites are at a lower percentage than the rest of the channels and gives me a not too blue visual, but if I set them at the same as other channels, the tank is mostly white (this is with 4 whites/2UV in the channel).
Anyone have advice on a lighting schedule for the Zeus? I am coming from T5's so I don't know much about setting a ramp up and down. Could I use similar schedules to what I see in this forum for the Malibu units?
How deep is your tank and how high off of the top of the tank is the unit.
I have only had my lights a little over a month and had gradually dialed it up, but since I have mine on top of the tank using the acrylic mounts I got nervous at about 65 because I had one coral bleach a bit.
