Bought new led light fixture from China.

I have had the zues series on my tank for 6 weeks or so. I am quite happy with them. Everything seems to be growing nicely. I have them at 35% for my softie tank. I feel they would be more than powerful enough for sps.

I have a 300dd. Measures 6x3x27 inch's. I have 3 lights 5 foot x 6 inch's. So it is pretty covered. Kevin at ledzeal recommended 2 lights

Are you able to slowly ramp the lights from sunrise to peak then to sunset with the Zeus lights? Or is it a drastic switch like my T5 2 switch unit does?

You can ramp it up and down. There are 4 channels. Rb, whites, red and green , and rb/another blue. It goes through their aquazealer app. It is a little bit of a pain to set up and use the app, but I did the programming a few times and left it alone.

I am thinking get a 4ft zeus unit for my new tank, I did not see much pictures yet for this new ledzeal model, do you have some pictures of your tank with the zeus? Thanks :spin1::spin1:

I am very happy with them. I like the spread, the look, the pricing. I am sure Radions are better and do more cool stuff, but I would have needed 6 units and was cost prohibitive

It has 90 degree lenses. The spread is very good. The fanless is nice. The units are not hot to the touch. I do have 3 large openings above them where my mh went, about 16" circle, so that probably helps. I picked up a parneter and will be doing reading later today

Cool! It will be interesting to see the PAR readings. I think spectrum has always been LEDZeal's strong point over outright power, but will be great to see.

I have owned a Malibu S200+ for a year. I recently ordered another 2x Malibu S200 lights for my frag tanks as well as a Zeus light. I haven't hooked the Zeus up yet but I did make heavy modifcations to the LED layout.

Great light except for the blues they use. The default blue is a more sky blue at 470nm which tends to not bring out those really deep colors in coral. So I opted for way more Royal Blue, Violet, and expanding the blue spectrum with some cyan as well. I also eliminated red and green for a more diverse white spectrum.

Personally I love the configuration I did way more than stock, but anyways pics for all.

As you can see it looks more clear after with less emphasis on the bright blue and focusing more on the Royal Blue and Violet with a slight touch of UV to help some of the coral really pop. In the before pic you might be able to see the red and green LED independent and a little stronger on the areas they shine. Now thats been eliminated. Anyone who wants my configuration it is below:

Hope this helps anyone considering this light. I have had no problem with any of them, and I have one over a year old still runs strong. These are not the cheap black boxes you would buy on ebay. They are a much higher quality product using meanwell drivers. I will gladly post pictures of the guts of the unit for anyone who wants it for proof, including the meanwell driver. :hb2:

Your tank looks just amazing with the customized LED configuration, more uniform spread and light distribution. Maybe I should try this one as well :lmao::lmao:
