Bought new led light fixture from China.

Where did everyone get those legs from are they an extra i see the slots in the end of my s400 but no legs came with it

They are an extra. The website calls them brackets
10 USD for the bracket but it then cost me an extra 30USD for shipping to the UK

I actually removed the SS Brackets and used some PVC as stands. This let me get the canopy on as the stand were to high.

Aquarist2013- It is a 240 gal, and I will have to take some pics....

Does anyone have a DIY setup?
I woke up this morning and the blue glow was WAY to much for some moonlight.
Has anyone found a good percent, maybe 1%, for the blue to produce a good moon light?

Here's what I started out with on my 2 - S200's. I've made a few changes but haven't put the updates in a file yet. The only major change is the whites are now up to about 80% as my nemmie wasn't happy losing the MH's. This gives a very blue look, for most of the day , which is what I wanted.
I don't have any moon lights but it would be easy to put some in a sequence. I found you need to have the "zero" place holders or it will ramp up/down to the next sequence.

If you use the channel with the UV's and blue at 1% you can use it as moonlighting.

You can go both ways. If you dont have a canopy then spend the extra money and get the S300 which is the exact size of your tank. It gives you more flexibility with optics but since your tank is only 18 tall the S200 with 90 or 120 is fine.

Ok so excuse the look of the tank. Only just upgraded and still sorting things out

120 degree optics throughout. No green or red used

The Moonlights arent working?
When you DIY a program, does the Unit ramp up to meet the requirement at the set time OR at the set time it outputs the requirement?
I have CH3 set at 1% at 3am but nothing is on? Then around 5 am the lights slowly come on but the next set point isnt until 10am?

On your schedule you have 1% at 2300 hours. Now you mention that they are scheduled to turn on at 0300 hours. What is your schedule between those two points. If you changed it and your first step is now 1% at 0300 then it might take a while for it to ramp up from zero. Your example is two hours. So if you want 1% at 0300 hours you might need to set the controller for 1% at 0100 hours, 2 hours earlier. It could just be a flaw in the design of the controller. My moonlighting is on from 2100 hours to 2300 at step 7 and then step eight at 0 and they turn off. So ramping down might be different than ramping up.

If you're using the sequence in post #893, the lights in Ch 3 should be on at 1% from 23:00 to 06:00. Then ramp up slowly to 50% at 10:00. I had to put in a couple "placeholders" to get my lights to do what I wanted. You might try adding another 1% to have it hold the value.
