Boxfish Questions

I have only had a small boxfish with a tang and what not before, but I am setting a new tank and just wonder what people would think about tangs and what not with a boxfish once it gets older and bigger? Will it work? 225 setup, so pleanty of ewxtra room.

I had my yellow cubicous boxfish with a salfin tang they were about the same size. I ended up getting rid of my tang as the tang swims really fast and the boxfish does not , every time the tang would swim near the box the box would get scared. I guess if you had a 225 it would be fine. My fish were in a 100 gallon so the extra room would probably be fine together.

i do not think the setups would be comperable. The boxfish cant withstand strong currents, while the tangs thrive with them. furthermore, tangs are greedy eaters, and would monpolize the food. possible, but not suggested.

In my tank I have a long horn and a sailfin tang, the key is getting the cowfish to settle first in the tank, I had the cow for about 3 months and then I added the tang. They both eat out of the same veggie clip and I have not had any problems with them, it's like they take turns
