From PM I know he most likely had an ammonia spike as he lost a fish while he was away and wife was taking care of tank. Nitrates are also currently high for him.
Wolf - Can you post up results from a fresh round of tests? Since you were away 2 weeks you might have some nutrient issues in there.
How are you treating the Zoas with pox in the tank?
Personally I would pull the brain and put it in your qt tank for right now till you get the rest of the tank back up to spec. Might need to pull the unaffected zoas if you have any as well so they are not impacted by the pox on everything else.
The only issue is I don't have a qt tank. I ordered furan I am going to do dips once it comes on Friday. The brain is just super bloated and engorged and his feeder tentacles haven't extended like they did before I left. and my Red Sea kit shows between .50 ppm and .75ppm on the high side test. I did a big 10 gallon water change the first day. And over the weekend did another 3 or 4 gallon water change. Ph was was off in the 7s as well so I added buffer the other day to bring it back up I'm thinking from the water changes. Ammonia is 0 and everything else tested normal range any other ideas?
